Is it ok to change rear tires thats 235 50 17 to 255 45 17?

I have a 2004 nissan 350z with front and arse tires that are different sizes. I will keep the front to the factory specs but i was wondering if i can replacement my back tires. i will go from 235 50 17 to 255 45 17. will this jeapordize my safety or carrying-on?

The official question is why do you want to go to a different size? What it is you are looking to get?

In terms of trimmings... there have been options on the car for as wide as 265 in the rear, so the 45 series at 255 span should work

2006 mitsubishi eclipse 225/50/17 tires to 235/55/17 will fit front tires ok?

my 2006 blocking comes with 225/50/17 tires, just wondering if a 235/55/17 tires will fit my front tires without rubbing the fenders??

Chances are not information, unless you're switching to a wheel with a wider offset. You're increasing the bore 10mm while also increasing the overall height of the tire and sidewall climax a few millimeters. It's generally recommended that you keep all
