I have one of those cages that have arrive out tray for the food and water. But my parakeet has learned to push it out and fly out the opening all by himself. I've tried crucial a book next to it but he can push the book too (strong bird)! If I move the

Why does my budgie keep falling asleep in its food tray?

I proper brought two new budgies and I already previously have two. So all in total I have 4 budgies. My worry is one of my new budgies seems to like to sit in and fall asleep in its food tray. The other 3 budgies watches this bird as it falls asleep
My finches like to siesta in food trays, too. Must feel like a nest, I guess. I keep a couple of supplement empty food trays in the cage for them to curl up in so they won't sit on the seeds.
