On my cider guts there is a label and I do not know what glue is used to stick it to the glass. Does anyone skilled in what glues are used for this purpose?

I neutral put labels on the CD itself and it shows through the cover. If you have your heart set on putting labels on the cover, you could try to strident up the surface a little bit with sandpaper to give the glue something to stick to.
