Does a Epson Style Life R300 printer take 3rd party ink cartridges?

The orignal inks have ran out and 3rd reception inks have been bought to replace them, i dont wanna attend to you should stick to orignals, heard it all before. what i wanna know is is there something you have to do before installing 3rd fete inks into
I've been using the cheapies for a lengthy while with my epson R300
& they are fine, ........................................
though I think I remember in the very begining having a maladjusted getting the d**ned thing to accept them.

If an Epson R300 ink cartridge absolutely runs out of ink, will it damage the printer?
the printer will perpetually working before you run out of ink.
This is of course unless you have reset the chip and are constant the cartridge dry. Ink passing through the print head acts as a coolant as well as prevents the type head
